MMCSL supports a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate lessons such as Engineering Mathematics, Simulation Techniques, Complex Networks, Business and Administration etc.

MMCSL participates in research projects and supervise undergraduate, Master degree and PhD thesis, focusing in modelling and simulation techniques in physical and social sciences.

MMCSL supports various international conferences, workshops, meetings and seminars in the field of mathematical physics, material science, information technology, business and marketing etc.

The Mathematical Modeling and Complex Systems Laboratory (MMCSL) supports a number of undergraduate and postgraduate lessons in the University of Peloponnese, especially in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. The scientific fields that are covered are those of Mathematical Modeling, Mathematical Analysis, Computational Science, Simulation of Physical and Social Systems, Study and Simulation of Complex Systems and Complex Networks, Evolutionary Techniques, Neural Networks etc.

MMCSL participates in a number of research projects and activities and organises conferences, events and exhibitions throughout the globe and provide all the necessary support for  scientific publications. 

Cultural exchange and Mobility Management

MMCSL is also a cultural exchange and mobility managing agent aiming to promote Mobility Training. We organise work placements for E.U citizens in order to enable them to secure their professional future. We offer a comprehensive package including work placement, accommodation and cultural activities. More specifically, MMCSL organizes internships and placements courses, company visits and seminars in the EU Mobility framework.

State of the Art Technology
MMCSL uses industry leading tools and supporting services. Fully equipped workstations, meeting place and interactive presentation equipment are available in a modern space of more than 150 m2.

The philosophy

of our service is twofold: first, we take your idea for an event from scratch and make it happen handling all the details and second, we provide all the necessary tools to manage the event at a glance from your computer. We have established partnerships with major European Conference Centres and Hotels, publishing houses and we can create online journals to host your publication needs. On the other hand, we have developed advanced software tools for online event management. Our services and online solutions will assist you to work smart, by covering all and only your true needs. We won't try to sell you a service if we don't think you need it. Contact us and we'll guide you to the module and individual solution that best suits your circumstances and budget.

People

Dimitrios S. Vlachos
received his PhD degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. After that he worked for 2 years as a post-doc researcher at the Institute of Nuclear Engineering at the Research Center 'Demokritos' and for 8 years as a researcher at the Hellenic Center for Marine Research. From 2007 until 2013 he is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Peloponnese and from 2013 until today as Associate Professor. His research interests focus on Discrete Variational Theory, Complex Networks, Evolutionary Algorithms and Physical Modeling.
Prof Vlachos is the author of more than 120 papers published in Scientific Journals and Conference Proceedings. He is currently the director of the Laboratory of Mathematical Modeling and Complex Systems at the University of Peloponnese.

Damianos P. Sakas
is a member of the educational personnel of the University of Peloponnese. In the past, he has served in the Communications office of the Prime Minister of Greece, and he was responsible for part of the mass media-related communications policy.
He has academic background and previous experience in SA Companies, in relation to the Administration of Enterprises. He held a position in oligopoly as well as in large international companies, always as a Decision Maker. His career experience in management matters, combined with his academic background, helped him to acquire experience which he tries to transform into scientific research. His research interests are Strategic Negotiation, Business Communication, Strategic and Management, Dynamic Simulation Models, Computational Methods.

Elias C. Vagenas
was born in 1971, in Athens, Greece. He studied at the University of Athens, where he was awarded his Ph.D. degree in 2002 under the supervision of Professor Theodosios Christodoulakis. Then he moved to Barcelona, Spain, for a postdoctoral position at the University of Barcelona from Jan. 2003 till Dec. 2004. Then he moved back to Athens for a  second postdoctoral position at the University of Athens from Jan. 2005 to Jun. 2007. In 2008, he was elected as Researcher C at the Research Center for Astronomy and Applied Mathematics (RCAAM) of the Academy of Athens. In 2011, he got his tenure and was promoted to a Researcher B. In Sept. 2013, he moved to Kuwait University as Associate Professor and joined the Theoretical Physics Group in the Department of Physics.
Prof Vagenas is the author of more then 50 papers with more than 3000 citations and h-index 32, according to INSPIREHEP database.

Dr Dimitrios K. Nasiopoulos
is a member of the educational personnel of the University of Peloponnese, in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. He has previous experience in SA Companies, in relation to the IT Manager of Enterprises. He has, a five year, academic background in the field of Business Administration. His research interests are Business Modelling, Strategic and Management, Dynamic Simulation Models and Computational Methods.

received his PhD degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. Anastasios Xintaropoulos
received his degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens at 1993. Until 2002, he was working as a free lancer in the field of electronic and scientific equipment. At 2009, he received his Master Degree in the field of Advanced Communication Systems and Networks from the University of Peloponnese. He is the author and organiser of several workshops, seminars, publications and projects.

Amanda N. Mavrogianni

Apostolos S. Sarlis
Received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Computer Science and Technology Department of the University Of Peloponnese. His B.Sc. thesis was the beginning of his scientific research on dynamic simulation modeling and digital marketing. He has made publications on social media processing and dynamic simulation modeling and his M.Sc. thesis was on the same field. His is currently a Ph.D(c), while attending post-graduate studies on social process modeling. His research interests focus on Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, Strategic and Management, Dynamic Simulation Models and Business Modelling. Also, he applies simulation models in social media networks in order to maximize the traffic of company pages and he is affiliated with Digital Marketing Agencies.
